  • Develop a regional vision, implementation, and awareness of fitness infrastructure
  • Leverage new constructs with existing resources (e.g., parks, sports facilities, bike paths, James River)

Preventative Healthcare for Uninsured

  • Provide preventative healthcare for uninsured
  • Align healthcare community on basic common objectives and funding with business community, faith-based organizations, and community organizations

Business Case for Health

  • Engage business to develop regional health goals
  • Create urgency and focus by clearly articulating benefits of healthy community for businesses (i.e., reduced healthcare costs, employment, more vibrant and engaged community)
