- Create a one-stop / front-door resource to simplify process
- Could include quarterly event at Convention Center with business and community volunteers as well as transportation provided
- Could include consolidation of application processes
United Families
- Leverage faith-based organizations and businesses to mentor and coach parents
- Analysis by VDPH estimates the cost of fatherless homes exceeds $200 million in Richmond alone
- Change social programs to not incentivize father absenteeism
Entry-Level Jobs
- True “entry-level jobs” for the average high school graduate
- Regional focus on identifying, developing and connecting entry-level jobs with those in community who need them
