Why It's Important
In 2017, the University of Minnesota studied the 49 of the 50 largest metropolitan areas in the nation to measure the transit coverage of an average resident’s access to jobs in the area. These percentages represent the number of jobs that a typical worker residing in the city can reach within 60 minutes of travel, between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, by transit and walking.
